Shefali is a Licensed Social Worker who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families. She has over 7 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a trauma-focused partial hospitalization program working with symptoms of depression, anxiety, opposition, suicidal ideations and many others.
Her goals as a clinician include fostering a relationship with her clients and their families through understanding and collaboration to create and achieve progressive and attainable goals. She wants to empower those to be vulnerable in a safe, non-judgmental environment and leave with feelings of progression and accomplishment. Shefali uses a strengths-based approach using different elements of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Theory (IPT) with a Nurtured Heart approach into her work with clients. Shefali’s bright and nurturing personality and empathetic approach helps her connect with children, teens and families.
